AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION, TOWNSHIP OF MIDDLETOWN, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS. NOTICE IF HEREBY GIVEN, that sealed bids, are sought and requested by Middletown Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania 18818 (herein after called ÒownerÓ), for the construction of the following project: MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP POLE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. Bids are requested for General Trades Work. In accordance with drawings, project manual, and other bidding and contract documents prepared by James A. Koppenhaver, P.E. 575 Van Reed Rd, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Contract: General Trades Contracts: General Trades and Site Work. Sealed bids will be received by the owner until 7:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Middletown Township building at 175 Corby Road, Friendsville, PA 18818, at which time and place all bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. The bid documents may be obtained at the Middletown Township Building at 175 Corby Road, Friendsville, PA 18818, during the business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday. As bid security, each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to Middletown Township, the owner, in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The owner required that all bids shall comply with the bidding requirements specified in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. The owner may, at their discretion, waive any informalities in bids, but is not obligated to do so, nor does this represent that they will do so. The owner also reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Under no circumstances will the owner waive any informality which, by such waiver, would give one bidder a substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all other bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid before forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof, unless a mistake due to error is claimed by the bidder in accordance with INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Attention of bidders is particularly called to requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. Laceyville Borough Council is accepting bids for the mowing of extended properties from the Business Assoc. The ÒbridgeÓ park and the three exits coming into town of Laceyville. All bids must specify equipment to be used, cost per location with weekly per mow pricing and to accompany by certificate of insurance. Any equipment repairs or replacement is solely the responsibility of the owner. Sealed and labeled bids are due June 1.
