Bradford County Likely to Eliminate Jury Commissioners
Governor Tom Corbett recently signed and passed into law a provision that will allow for county commissioners to dissolve the office of jury commissioner as they see fit. The concept is not new, but has gained momentum in the past decade as more of the jury selection process is automated. Bradford County has long had two jury commissioners, as have Susquehanna, Sullivan, and Wyoming Counties.
