Janet A. Albright, 69, of 1413 Dougherty Rd., Meshoppen, PA passed away at her home in Auburn Twp., Susquehanna Co., on Friday, March 9, 2012. She was born in Abington, PA in Montgomery County on April 27, 1942, she was the daughter of Amelia Schoenfellinger Luckie, of Craig Hill, Meshoppen, and the late John Bach.
Growing up in Upper Dublin, PA, she was a graduate of the Upper Dublin High School, Class of 1960. After her graduation, Janet was employed as a specialty cake decorator at the Dublin Bakery in Upper Dublin. While living in the Auburn Center area, she enjoyed the outdoors, especially watching the wildlife of the country. She was a member of the National Wildlife Federation.
Besides her mother, she was survived by her two sons, Donald K. Albright of Edwardsville and Daniel Robert Albright of Belgrade, MT; her ex-husband, Donald G. Albright of Auburn Center; two brothers and their wives, Ken and Karen Bach and Curt and Barb Bach, all of Auburn Center, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 1 p.m. at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Meshoppen. Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial donations to the National Wildlife Federation, 11100 Wildlife Center Drive, Reston, VA 20190.
