Brown Bag Day Slated
Taking medications? Age 60 or older? Gather your medications and bring them for a free review by a pharmacist on Monday, March 26 at the Towanda Senior Center from 9 to 11 a.m. or the Sayre Senior Center from 10 a.m. to noon.
The pharmacists will review the prescriptions and dosages and will check for any possible interactions. For a person who has a chronic health condition, is being treated by more than one physician or is also taking over-the-counter medications, it can be helpful to have all of your prescriptions reviewed as a safety check.
Jennifer Patson, pharmacist at the CVS Pharmacy in North Towanda, will be conducting the Brown Bag check-ups at the Towanda Senior Center located at Colonial Towers, Colonial Drive, Towanda. Brad Bitler, pharmacist at the CVS Pharmacy in Sayre, will be conducting the reviews at the Sayre Senior Center located at 208 Desmond Street.
For additional information, to schedule a check-up appointment or order a meal for the day of the review, please contact the Towanda Senior Center at 570- 265-2687 or the Sayre Senior Center at 888-2387 by the morning of Friday, March 23 .
