Last of Original DuPont Female Production Workers Retires
An era ended on Friday, March 30 when, after 40 years, all of the seven women who began working in the Production Department at DuPont’s Towanda plant have closed out their careers. They were the first females to work in the plant’s Production Department, starting in the fall of 1972.
