Robert Lee, Jr.
Robert E. Lee, Jr., 79, of Tunkhannock, PA died Wednesday morning, May 16, 2012 at the home of his daughter, Tammy after an illness. Born in Wilkes- Barre, Dec. 24, 1932, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Irene Buckworth Lee.
He was a member of the Scranton Carpenters Union where he worked as a construction foreman. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Tunkhannock High School, Class of 1951, and attended Penn State University. He was a past Master of Temple Lodge #248, F.&A.M. and a member of Franklin Lodge Free and Accepted Masons Lodge # 263. He was a member of Triton Hose Company, Tunkhannock.
Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Balewski and her husband, Joe of Tunkhannock, Amy Morton and her husband, Rick of
Michigan; a son,
Kevin Lee of Lansdale; his companion of 30 years,
Nancy Kintner of
Forkston and three granddaughters.
Funeral services were held Saturday,
May 19 at 10 a.m. at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Rev. John Shaffer officiating. Interment was in Sunnyside
Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends called on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
