Albert D. Depew, 89, of Rushville, PA passed away, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Golden Living Center, Tunkhannock. Born Dec. 8, 1922 in Sayre, he was the son of the late Albert and Amy (Forbes) Depew. His wife, Evelyn (Bidlack) Depew, predeceased him in 1999.
He was a dairy farmer all of his life. He retired to Florida until the passing of his wife.
He was a member of the Church of Nazarene.
Albert enjoyed reading, cutting out articles, taping his favorite shows, reminiscing with people about places and cars and listening to music.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Dick and Linda Depew of Harleysville, Dale and Diane Depew of Rossville, GA, Donald and Anna Depew of Williamsburg, VA, David and Annette Depew of Elk Lake; daughters and sons-in-law, Marian Small of Rushville, Joann and Steve Prentice of Cape May, NJ, Susan and Donnie Fisher of Hallstead; grandchildren and spouses, Jeff Depew, Jon and Miriam Depew, Robin and David Brown, Christopher Depew, Jennifer Depew, Amy and Bob Bennett, Lori and Micky Sharp, Eric Prentice, Michael and Kelly Prentice, Tiffany and Andrew Pavlik, Brad Fisher, Jeremy Depew, Joshua Depew, Amber Depew, Ryan Depew and Kaitlyn Depew; 16 great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Howard Depew, Jr., and nieces, Joyce Bolton, Shirley Shaffer and Sharon Tubbs.
Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sonin law, Selden Small; brother, Howard Depew and sister, Dorothy Catlin.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12 at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose. Friends and family called one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
