Wyoming Prison Board Drafts Bylaws, Considers Role
The Wyoming County Prison Board is in the process of drafting new bylaws to govern itself and the running of the county’s jail. As part of that process, the board is also thinking about what type of role it wishes to play. There is no statutory provision for a prison board in seventh and eighth class counties; Wyoming is a seventh class county.
