Robert Forba, Jr.
Robert O. Forba, Jr., 44, of East Rush, PA, passed away, Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore. Born Sept. 22, 1967 in Tunkhannock, he was the son of Robert O., Sr. and Betty Jean [Rosengrant] Forba.
He was employed by Select Sire Power as a technician for 23 years until his health no longer allowed him to work.
He was a member of the Dimock Christian Community Church, United Bow Hunters of Pennsylvania and the 4-H Club where he was involved with archery and shooting. He was a hunter safety instructor for many years as well as a bus driver for Montrose School District for 14 years. Robert enjoyed nature and being outdoors. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Nancy [Hinkley] Forba of East Rush; his children, Matthew and Emily Forba of East Rush; parents, Robert, Sr. and Betty Jean Forba of Meshoppen; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Rick Holgate of Kingsley; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Barbara Hinkley of Lynn; sisters-inlaw and brothers-inlaw, Michele and Francis Hirkey of Keiserville, Karen and Troy Vermeulen of East Rush; nieces and nephews, Amanda and Abbey Hirkey, Jason and Lauren Vermeulen, Kyle and Tiffany Holgate.
He was predeceased by a niece, Megan Vermeulen.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24 at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
