Bonnie Rae Kipp Smith, 70, of Lovelton, PA, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 at home after a brief illness surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Rochester, NY on Dec. 16, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Loren J. and Eleanor Gowan Kipp of New Albany. She attended Wyalusing Valley Jr./Sr. High School and graduated with the class of 1960.
She worked briefly at a dress factory before becoming a homemaker. She raised five children with her husband, Don. She enjoyed the simple things in life like sitting on the porch, watching the flowers bloom, enjoying the wildlife that came into her yard and especially watching her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren grow up.
She was a member of the Lovelton Bible Church for many years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Donald W. Smith, Sr.; father, Loren J. Kipp and mother, Eleanor R. Gowan Kipp.
Surviving are her children, Bryan Smith, Diane and Frank Moreck, Billie Jo and Tim Fassett, Donald, Jr. and Deanna Smith and Bradly Smith, Sr.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Loren Kipp and Russell and Loretta Kipp; sisters, Joan Shaffer, Jean and Dean Stang and Lynette and Dan Walters and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Lovelton Bible Church in Lovelton for family and friends.
