They’re back: Free soup suppers at Hollenback United Methodist Church on Nov. 14, Dec. 12. Everyone welcome. Bible study, 4:30; supper, 5 p.m.

Kick-Off Dinner for Relay for Life will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the Wyalusing Fire Hall. The spaghetti dinner will be from 6 to 7 p.m.

Knights of Columbus Beef Dinner on Friday, Oct. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. in St. Basil’s Hall, Dushore. Roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, cole slaw, applesauce, dinner roll, homemade desserts, coffee, tea, milk and water. Adults, $8; children 12-6, $3.50; under 6, free. Jenningsville UMW Beef Dinner and Bake Sale, Election Day, Nov. 6, 4 p.m. at the church. Adults, $9; children, 5-12, $4; under five, free. Roast beef w/mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, squash, applesauce, roll, cole slaw, pies, coffee, tea, milk.

The Mehoopany United Methodist Church will hold a Roast Beef dinner on Saturday, Oct. 28, starting at 4 p.m. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, glazed carrots, three bean salad, pies and other homemade desserts.

The Hollenback UMC will be holding their Election Day lunch of Chicken and Biscuits with all the trimmings, familystyle on Nov. 6 starting at 11:30 a.m. Adults, $7; children 5 to 12, $3.50; preschool, free. Benefit Missions for the UMW.

Russell U.M. Church, Rt. 6W, Tunkhannock will hold their annual Ham Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 3, serving from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Ham, mashed potatoes, baked beans, squash, corn cole slaw, cranberry relish, and homemade pies for dessert. Adults, $8, 6-12, $4, preschool, free. Takeouts available. Handicap accessible. Pre-orders, 570- 836-1920. Benefit church youth program.

Annual Harvest Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Spring Hill Community Hall, 4:30 to ? Turkey with all the trimmings. Adults, $8; 6 to 12, $4; preschool, free.

Election Day Pancake Supper on Nov. 6, 4:30 to 7 p.m. at New Era U.M. Church on Rienze Road, off Wyalusing-New Albany Rd. Adults, $6; under 12, $3; preschool, free. Supper includes sausage, farm eggs, local syrup.

Ham dinner with homemade pies at St. John’s Chapel, Wilmot, on Thursday, Nov. 1, 4:30 until 7 p.m. Adults, $7; children, ages four to 12, $3; preschool, free. Take-outs available.

Silvara Ladies Aide Harvest Dinner. It will be roast beef with all the trimmings and baked goods table on Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. Takeouts available after 6 p.m.
