Christmas Tea Party, Sunday,
Nov. 25 at noon. A Disney
Princess theme has been selected for the tea. The tea party will
feature princesses, the fairy
godmother, a prince or two and
maybe an evil step-mother. Tea
sandwiches, tea, lemonade and
desserts will be served on real
china plates. Mrs. Santa will
visit. Sponsored and held at the
Greater Wyalusing Chamber of
Commerce. Tickets are $10 for
adults and $8 for little girls
under 12 and can be purchased
at the chamber office at 20 Main
Street in Wyalusing. The tea is
sponsored by Memorial Hospital Community Health Associates LLC Wyalusing Medical
Clinic and P&G Credit Union.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be
arriving via fire truck in
Wyalusing on Friday, Nov. 23 at 7
p.m. at the town’s Christmas
tree, located on the corner of
Marsh and Church streets. The
Wyalusing Adult Band will be
playing carols for a sing-along.
Warm cider will be provided by
members of the Wyalusing
Presbyterian Church. After caroling, Santa and Mrs. Claus will
lead the children to the Greater
Wyalusing Chamber of Commerce building for a visit. A
craft of decorating felt gingerbread men will be available.
Paper and a mailbox will be
available so children can write a
letter to Santa. Cookies and hot
chocolate will be provided by
the Wyalusing Hotel. There is

Wyalusing Lioness Annual
Christmas Bazaar, Sunday,
Dec. 2 at the Wyalusing High
School from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Over 40 vendors will be featuring unique handmade craft
items. Santa and Mrs. Claus will
be available from 1 to 3 p.m.
Bring your children and cameras to get a holiday picture.
The Wyalusing Adult Band will
perform 3 to 4 p.m. Sloppy Joes,
homemade soup and baked
goods available throughout the
day. Proceeds assist the Lioness
Club in their support of local

The Bradford County
Humane Society - Holiday
Open House and Christmas
party will be held at the shelter
on Rt. 220, Ulster on Dec. 8 from
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Factoryville United
Methodist Senior Choir and

friends are preparing a very
special event for Christmas this
year on Dec. 16 at 5:30 p.m. They
will be presenting their musical
program in conjunction with a
“free” full course dinner. The
dinner will start with appetizers, then a ham dinner followed
by yummy desserts. The music
will be presented in-between the
courses. Soloists, instrumentals
and of course, many numbers
by the choir. It promises to be a
fun evening.

The Skinners Eddy United
Methodist choir will be presenting the annual Advent service at 3 p.m. on Dec. 9. The program is filled with inspirational
advent music, which will surely
get you in the Christmas mood.
Many local musicians will
share their talents. Refreshments will be served following
the program.

Christmas in the Country
craft show on Saturday, Nov. 24
from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Warren Center Community Building. Two rooms of crafts, bake

Sherwood Groves Ford is
Wysox will host “Go Further
with Ford Night” on Thursday,
Nov. 15 from noon to 7 p.m. This
free fundraising event, co-sponsored by Ford, Hurley’s Fresh
Market and the Edge Fitness
will raise money for T.A.C.O. A
donation will be made to
T.A.C.O. for every test drive of a
2013 Ford Fusion. A webcam
will be set up at the dealership
and participants will be filmed
via webcam judging a prerecorded American Idol show.
All webcam recorded entries
will then be judged and the
lucky participants will win a
VIP, all expense paid trip to LA
for the premier of American
Idol in 2013.

New Year’s Eve party. Again
sponsored by the Greater
Wyalusing Chamber of Commerce. The public is invited. It’s
a fair bet that if you attended
last year, you are excited about
being there again. Held in the
great Tuscarora-Wayne room on
Main St., Wyalusing, the
evening includes a social time
with hors d’ouevres, a full
course catered meal, dancing by
DJ “All About Entertainment.”
It is BYOB. Tickets ($35/person)
