Susan Barnett Terry, 53, of New Era, PA, passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at her home.
Born on March 31, 1959 in Towanda, she was the daughter of Shirley Wells Barnett and the late Samuel B. Wells. She attended the Wyalusing Valley High School. After school she worked at Herman Rynveld’s Son Corp. wreath factory until its closing. She then worked for Kountry Kreations until their closing. She most recently worked for Metadyne until retiring from there. She was a homemaker for the last few years. She married Mark Terry of Monroeton. They were together for 26 years.
Sue enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as crocheting, photography and working in her garden and flowerbeds.
Surviving are her spouse, Mark Terry, at home; sons and daughter-in-law, James (Kelly) Kulsicavage, Tunkhannock, Jacob Terry, Towanda; daughters and son-in-law, Lora Johnson, Wyalusing, Melissa (Scott) Jackson, Wyalusing, Amy Terry, Towanda, Stacey Terry, Towanda; mother, Shirley Wells, Towanda; brothers and sistersin law, Samuel (Betsy) Barnett, Towanda, Andy (Tonya) Barnett, Towanda; sister and friend, Tina Minier and Donald Valis, New Era; ten grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Samuel Barnett and a brother, Albert Barnett.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, with the Rev. Robert W. Martin presiding. Interment was in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends called at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 until the time of the service.
The family provided the flowers and requests that memorial contributions be sent to Mark Terry at 934 Parker Road, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
