The cold temperature and wind on Sunday kept a lot of folks inside. It was so windy at my house that it seemed as though the birds and squirrels hunkered down and stayed in the woods rather than venture out to look for birdseed. But there are some hopeful signs that spring is approaching—the snowdrops have poked through the ground although they haven’t opened up yet.
