Dustin W. Middaugh, 28, of Windham Township, PA passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Dustin was born in Sayre, PA on Jan. 8, 1985. He was a graduate of Northeast Bradford High School class of 2003. He was formerly employed by Sherwood Groves and Resource Transport/Pumpco both in Wysox.
Dustin loved the outdoors with his favorite place being at his Aunt Hank’s pond and was known for climbing trees barefooted. He will be remembered for his love of nature and desire for being a part of it. Dustin could name wildflowers and plants with his favorite being the Trileum that grows in the woods at home. He was an avid reader and eager learner who was always willing to share his knowledge and interests with others. He found great interest in reading his Bible and quoting scripture. Dustin enjoyed music and had a huge genre ranging from Blue Grass to Punk Rock. Most of all, he possessed great love for his family and friends who will fondly remember his sense of humor and ability to be ready and tell jokes for hours. He will be deeply missed by all.
He leaves behind his parents, Twylia and Jim Bullock, Dave and Stephanie Middaugh, Roy J. Blokzyl; brothers, Andrew and Ethan Middaugh, Kyle and Josh Blokzyl; sisters, Adrianna Bullock and Angela Benjamin; sister-in-law and special niece, Monica Wilson and Akajiah Middaugh; grandparents, Phyllis Barbur and Frank Gross, Bob and Wanda Middaugh, Jane and Olney Bullock; aunts and uncles, Tom Driscoll, Carolyn and Doug Joseph, Chris and Mark Learn, Jim and Sue Middaugh, Bob and Mary Middaugh, George and Kris Middaugh, Kathy and Bill Casselbury, Kevin and Larry Bullock, Henry, Ralph and Corney Blokzyl and Tet Blokzyl; special aunt and uncle, “Hank” and Dave Korb; his girlfriend, Meghan Kauchis and her children, Tara, Jeremy and Mary.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Riek and Henry Blokzyl, Mel Barbur; great-grandfather, Warren “Con” Chamberlain and aunts, Raylene Hoose and Kay Ford.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 8 at 6 p.m. at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda. Interment will be private. There are no calling hours.
