The Hollenback United Methodist Church is pleased to announce the following dates for the free soup suppers. These events start off with a Bible study at 4:30 and the supper at 5 p.m. All welcome. The dates are as follows: March 13, April 10.
St. Patrick’s Day dinner, March 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. at VFW Post #6824, Haigh’s Pond Road in Potterville. Corned beef and cabbage, ham, potatoes, carrots and dessert. Adults, $10; children, age 10 and under, $5. Takeouts, $10. Benefits VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Dinner. Sponsoring three fish dinners this Lenten season on Friday, March 8, March 22. Dinners include baked fish, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, cole slaw, applesauce, dinner roll, homemade desserts and beverage. Served from 4 to 7 p.m. in St. Basil’s Hall, Dushore. 24th Annual Hunting Heritage Super Fund banquet will be held Saturday, March 23 at the Sayre Elks Club. Doors open at 5 p.m. and tickets cost $75 for couples or $55 for individuals.
