Good Friday Pies and More Bake Sale: sponsored by the WVHS girls’ softball team in front of Miller’s Pharmacy in the Farm and Home Plaza, Wyalusing. It will be held March 29, 8 a.m. until all goods are sold.

Annual Breakfast with Easter Bunny - Saturday, March 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Wyalusing United Methodist Church. Menu: pancakes, eggs, bacon, juice, milk and coffee. Bring the kids and your camera.

The North Rome Wesleyan Church at the four corners in North Rome will be presenting the Easter Musical, “I’ve Seen Jesus, Encountering the Risen Christ” on Good Friday evening, March 29 at 7 p.m. and repeated during worship on Sunday, March 31 at 10 a.m. For more information, call 570-247- 7670.

All girls in pre-K through fifth grade from Wyalusing Elementary are invited to an Easter Egg-stravaganza for an Egg-citing time. The event is free, sponsored by the Girl Scouts and will include games, crafts, face painting, tattoos and lots of fun. The event is March 23 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Wyalusing Elementary School. You do not need to be a Girl Scout.

Easter Egg Hunt, New Albany VFW Post 384, March 23, 11 a.m. All children, age 10 and under.

Meshoppen Holiday Fund Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. at the Meshoppen Ball Park, rain or shine. Five age groups, 0 to 2; 3 to 5; 6 to 8; 9 to 12; 13 and up. Fun, prizes, refreshments.

The New Albany Area Children’s Fund will be hosting their annual Easter egg hunt at the New Albany Park on March 30 at 12 p.m. All area children up to grade 6 are invited to come hunt for eggs and visit with the Easter Bunny.

Annual Palm Sunday Smorgasbord, March 24, 11:30 until ? at Rome Fire Hall. All you can eat. Turkey, ham, potatoes, vegetables, salads, etc., large dessert bar. Take-outs available. Benefits: Rome Fire Department.

The Stevensville Presbyterian Church plans for Easter Sunday: 7 a.m., sunrise worship with Pastor Dave Dewing; 8 a.m., Easter breakfast of ham, eggs, juice and coffee in the hall; 9 a.m., Bible study and 10 a.m., celebration of Easter and Christ’s Resurrection.

The Wyalusing Presbyterian Church will be holding a family oriented Cross Walk on Friday, March 29 at 8:30 a.m. Meet at the church and there are various stops planned around town. Everyone is welcome to join.

Easter Egg Hunt - Black Walnut American Legion Post 510 on March 30 at 1 p.m. for all ages including adults.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Wyalusing Borough Park on Saturday, March 30 at noon. Sponsored by Wyalusing Valley Vol. Fire Department.

Stevensville Community Club’s children’s Easter party, is set for Saturday, March 30, 1 to 3 p.m. and features crafts, egg decorating, an Easter egg hunt (with each age group in its own area), refreshments and prizes. Call Eileen Fedak, 570-744-1918.

The Wysox Presbyterian Church has planned a special program on March 24 Passion/ Palm Sunday during the 11 a.m. service. The program, entitled “Just Jesus—Come Meet Jesus” will be presented by the Sunday School as well as several members of the congregation.

Following will be a breakfast brunch and Easter party in Ferguson Hall. March 28 at 6 p.m., the congregation will remember the Last Supper with a Maundy Thursday service. A light supper of soup and sandwiches will begin the evening.

Easter Cantata: “I Am the Lord of the Dance” by Joel Raney will be presented on Palm Sunday, March 24 at 4 p.m. at the Rome Presbyterian Church. Over 30 voices will be performing. Choir director is Susie Boardman and pianist is Marilyn Brainard. Admission is free.
