The Hollenback United Methodist Church will hold a spring music festival on April 21, starting at 2 p.m. Singing from children in the Wyalusing charge, guest singers Lynn Trybula and Martha Kress and organists Faith Jaynes and Peter Bryan.

The Wyalusing Art Department is pleased to announce that they will be showcasing art work from throughout the school year at the Wyalusing School District Art Show at the Blue Heron Gallery on Main Street in Wyalusing. The show will be on display from April 10 through April 29. There will be an opening reception for the show April 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. All are welcome and encouraged to stop by to see the art work, enjoy some music and refreshments and support our talented young artists. The jazz band will be playing and refreshments will be provided. Following the show, the art work from WVHS will return to the high school and will displayed with even more work at Open House on May 2.

Seeking Area Artists: The Vintage Theater, in downtown Scranton is seeking area artists to take part in their upcoming “Works in Wood” visual exhibit. All pieces must be made entirely or at least primarily with wood. All those interested in exhibiting should submit images and descriptions of their works or proposed “works in progress” to info@scrantonsvintagetheater.com or by physical mail addressed to 326 Spruce Street, Scranton PA 18503. The submission deadline is May 20 2013 (noon). Installation will occur June 3 and 4. The exhibit will run from June 7 – 30, 2013.

AARP Meetings #4423 are held at the Wysox EMS Building the second Tuesday of every month with the exception of special meetings combined with a luncheon. Grief Support Group: Jan.- Dec. 2013. A bereavement support group meets monthly, the last Tuesday of each month from 3 to 4:30 p.m. This group is open to those who have experienced loss and is facilitated by Trudy Ventello, LSW, a social worker with Memorial Hospital’s Hospice program.
