Mr. Pennay, I agree with Mr.

Mr. Pennay, I agree with Mr. Rouse. Out-of-Control budgets have resulted in the bankruptcy of too many U.S. towns and cities. Harrisburg, PA comes to mind. Wyalusing Borough Council, Why the need for a part time code enforcement officer and why $40.00 per hour? Compared to paying Laceyville $50.00 per hour for police protection, this seems inflated. Nothing for the kide? Very sad statement. Still trying to figure out why it is society's responsibility to provide around-the-clock entertainment for kids. This wasn't needed in the past and isn't needed now. Bill Looney Wyalusing, PA

Mr Rouse, Laceyville can

Mr Rouse, Laceyville can hardly afford water? We in Laceyville are taking care of our water problems and its not just the people who are working on it. Its the people who live in town who have put up with a lot through the years and are still being VERY patient for continued progress to be made. Just because WNEP didn't come back out and do a news story about Laceyville having water or not being on a boil advisory does not mean we can't afford water. I get so tired of people saying "I can't" or "we can't" its sickening. .....by the way, I'm assuming that you looked at Wyalusing's budget before claiming their budget isn't balanced. It is public information after all.
