They Call It ‘God’s Country’ But It’s Not Heaven for Me
Here I am not long after the start of last Saturday’s God’s Country Half Marathon in Potter County, wishing I were somewhere else.
I’m plodding my way to the top of a daunting, three-mile hill (we call these things mountains in Bradford County) near the start of a race that’s earned a reputation for being among the most challenging in the eastern U.S.
