During the "moratorium"

During the "moratorium" SCHOOL DISTRICTS as well as the state did not contribute to this pension fund. (This was decided by the politicians, not the school districts.)Only the teachers were required to continue contributions. Now that the moratorium is over, the districts are paying extra while the current governor has decreased the amount of funding for education. In 2001 Act 9 the legislators' pension payout increase was twice as much as the school employees'. These increases were a surprise to the school employees who had not lobbied for an increase. Now Corbett is attempting to punish school employees for a problem they did not create. Thank you, politicians of Pennsylvania.
