Mildred B. Naugle
She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey, on Feb. 29, 1924 to Louis F. Brandner and Anna Ruh.
After graduating from Roselle Park High School in 1940 and Middlebury College in 1944, she taught school before and after raising her two sons, until her retirement in 1979.
She was married to J. Marshall Naugle for 53 years until his death on Feb. 6, 2000.
She lived in Winston-Salem, NC for the past 20 years and was active in many community organizations, including Crisis Control Ministries, Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity.
She was an active member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Winston-Salem, singing in the choir and serving on several committees.
She loved to travel and had visited many countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.
She is survived by her sister, Virginia Gordon; sisterin law, Madeline Biringer and her husband, Eugene; brother-in-law, Robert Naugle and his wife, Avalyn; sons: Louis Naugle and his wife, Lynn and Jonathan Naugle and his wife, Michèle; five grandchildren, Brett Naugle, Briel Naugle Wakerly and her husband, Rob, Etienne Naugle, Danielle Naugle and Jason Naugle and his wife, Lori Keeney, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who were all very precious to her. She would want all of her family to smile while remembering a memory of times spent together over the years.
