Robert Edward Gramlich, Sr.
Bob was born on Jan. 31, 1943, the son of the late Charles William and Dorothy Ward Gramlich.
He attended Abington Senior High School in Montgomery County, PA.
After high school, Bob served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was an aircraft mechanic during the Vietnam War.
Bob most recently worked at Bartron Supply in Tunkhannock as a mechanic from 1992 until his retirement in 2005.
He also worked for West German Sales in Fort Washington, PA as an auto mechanic before working with Bartron Supply.
He was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and working on cars in his spare time.
Bob also liked to follow the Hall of Fame drag racer, Ken Montgomery. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Catherine L. Gramlich, whom he married on March 3, 1962; his son, Robert Edward Gramlich, Jr. of Montgomery County, PA; his daughters, Lori Novak- Cassano and her husband, Joseph of Bucks County, PA, Cheryl Lyn Gramlich of Dalton and Christine Marie Gramlich and her significant other, James Delaughter of Leesport, PA; his grandchildren Jerrald Novak of Bucks County, Samantha Duncan Welch and her husband, Christopher of Dalton, Sky Delaughter of Leesport, Barbara DeLaughter of Reading, PA and Brandon DeLaughter of Leesport; his great-granddaughter, Grace Elizabeth Welch of Dalton, his brother, Karl Gramlich and his wife, Hazel of Jenningsville, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his motherin law, Barbara Kessler Moore (2003).
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
