Arthur C. Bennett, 80, of Lawton, PA, passed away on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013. Born July 19, 1933 in Rushville, he was the son of the late Clinton and Mae [LaRue] Bennett.
Throughout his life, he worked in the stone quarry, farming, as a butcher and also at Procter & Gamble.
He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and trapping.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi (Ronie) Bennett of Montrose; daughters, Patricia Gesford of Montrose, Lori and Timothy McKinney of Montrose; sons, Robert Bennett and Ann Teeter of Lawton, Stanley and Jill Bennett of Lawton; six grandchildren, Tiffany and Matt Neenan, Matthew and Caryn Gesford, Megan, Carley, Katlyn and Shyanne Bennett; five greatgrandchildren; brothers, Richard and Sandra Bennett of Rushville, Paul Bennett of Rushville, Claude and Clara Bennett of Fairdale.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Betty, Doug, LaRue and Charlie.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17 at the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at the funeral home.
