Michael was born in Delaware, grew up in Bristol and graduated from Bristol High School. He lived and raised his family in Fairless Hills and was a Little League coach for many years, coaching his 1988 team to the FHAA Little League District 21 Title.
Upon retirement, he moved with his family to Meshoppen. Michael was a pipe fitter/welder for U.S. Steel for 13 years and then for Rohm and Haas for 20 years. He loved to hunt and fish. His days revolved around his granddaughters.
Surviving him are his wife of 44 years, Janet L (Rieck) Beasley; two sons, Michael C. Beasley of Philadelphia and Matthew S. Beasley of Levittown; two granddaughters, Nadya C. Beasley and Olivia L. Beasley, both of Meshoppen. He also is survived by his mother, Helen M. Beasley of Bristol; two sisters, Annemarie Kearney of Bordentown, NJ, Leslie Rodenberger of Levittown and family members, Ian Hartnett of Fairless Hills and James Lepera of Meshoppen.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. at the New Hope Ministries Church, Route 367, Laceyville.
Another memorial service for family and friends was held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19 at Carter Funeral Home, 314 Cedar St., Bristol.
