Born on Nov. 16, 1916 in Jenks, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Cora Carpenter Sickler.
Julia was a homemaker for her late husband, Andrew J. Kingston (Jan. 26, 1987) and their six children.
She enjoyed going to yard sales. Most of all she loved to spend time with all of her family.
Survivors include her sons, Dale A. Kingston and his wife Judy of Jenningsville, and Charles K. Kingston and his wife Pam of Terrytown; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Betty Kingston, Joyce Kingston, Alberta Williams and Judy Sayman; her grandson, Charles Kingston, Jr.; granddaughters, Tina Kingston and Nancy Kingston; five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service were held on Monday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at the Sheldon Funeral Home, Main St., Laceyville, with Rev. Charles Bishop of the Transue Community Church officiating. Interment followed at the North Flat Cemetery in Laceyville. Family and friends called at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
