Sugar on Snow Event At Mt. Pisgah State Park
Although this winter seems long and endless, there are signs of spring appearing almost daily. Male gold finches at bird feeders are beginning to change into their mating plumage; several mergansers on creeks, where there was open water and gulls again visiting on a stopover as they head north to their nesting areas. There are also reports of robins being seen.
