May E. Waldron, 74, formerly of Wyalusing, PA, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 2, 2014 at the Bradford County Manor in West Burlington Township where she was a resident. Born on June 2, 1939 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Jennie (Young) Waldron.
May worked at Little Brook Nursing Home and as a caretaker of Lower Valley Union Cemetery in Califon, NJ, before moving to the Wyalusing (Browntown) area in 1975. She was employed at the Super Duper Market in Wyalusing as a meat cutter until its closing and at Tiffany’s Lamp in Black Walnut.
She was a kind generous person who enjoyed gardening and growing roses. She made wooden clocks and crafts that she sold at various flea markets in the area. She also found great joy in spending the winters in Florida with her special friend, Inez
Surviving are her sister, Dolores
Schubert of Middle
Valley, NJ; five nieces, Karen and
John Burd, Gwen and Gregory
May and Peter
Heide Ort, as well as two grandnephews, Jason
Burd and John Burd.
It was May’s wishes not to have calling hours or a funeral service. Graveside committal services will be at the convenience of the family at Lower Valley Union Cemetery in Califon, NJ.
