Rodney S. Baker, 88, of Montrose, PA, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 in Clarks Summit, PA. He was born in Binghamton, NY, on Oct. 15, 1925, to the late Arthur J. and Euphrasia (Stevens) Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolores (Siegel) Baker; sister, Virgie Learn of Laceyville; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Gordon Marlyn Baker.
Rodney was a devoted husband. He was an outdoor enthusiast and avid hunter, who would travel extensively for a hunt. He was also a very good carpenter.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, with Rev. Cecily Eisley of the Dimock Community Church officiating. Calling hours will be an hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Laceyville Cemetery.
