Snow Hits Parts of Region Hard

Depending on where you live in the northern tier of Pennsylvania, you either got a lot of snow last night or virtually nothing.

In the Wyalusing area, for example there is barely a trace of snow, meanwhile to the south and east, places like Edinger Hill near Laceyville received about 10-inches, which ranks as one of the heaviest snowfalls of the season. Rocket-Courier sales representative Cindy Porter snapped this photo Monday morning outside her Edinger Hill home. Tunkhannock, Elk Lake and Montrose schools are closed for the day, while to the north and west Wyalusing posted a two-hour delayed opening. Other Bradford County schools are operating on normal schedules.
