Monthly “Spectrum” meetings will be held at the Towanda Universalist Unitarian Fellowship community room the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Park behind the church on Poplar Street and enter rear door. T.A.C.O. Food Pantry holiday closing. The Towanda Area Christian Outreach Food Pantry will be closed Monday, May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday. The pantry will reopen Wednesday, May 27 at 10 a.m. T.A.C.O. serves the Towanda, Northeast Bradford and Wyalusing school districts and is normally open Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10 a.m. until noon. The New Albany Area Children’s Fund is hosting the Annual Charlie Wiles Fishing Derby on May 30, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for children four to 13 at Behrend-Wiles pond on the Overton Road. This is a free catch and release event and every registered child will receive goody bags, bait, refreshments and a prize.

Wyalusing Youth Football and Cheerleading Club will hold registration for the 2015 season on Friday, May 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the lobby of the Wyalusing Elementary School.
