The Bradford Sullivan Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) invites school retirees from the Northeast Bradford and Towanda School Districts to a gathering, on Sept. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Antler Ridge Winery near Rome, Come and meet with your fellow retirees. Learn of the benefits of belonging to PASR, the only group that includes all public school employees, and catch up on what your friends have been doing since they retired. The 3rd annual North Orwell Old Home Day will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the North Orwell Hall, located on Rt. 187, between Rome and Nichols, NY. The festivities will begin at noon and continue throughout the day with food, 50/50, Chinese auction, games, music, and pony rides for the kids! In the evening at 7 p.m. will be a variety show, “Livin In The Country.” Mr. Bob Moore, (newspaper editor), will be on hand, with the help of Andy Boardman, to MC the show. Some of the acts this year will be Karissa Cowles, Sam and MiKayla Keir, Jim Eastman, Nancy Boardman Holden, to name just a few. In addition, there will be plenty of time for laughter. All proceeds will go to support the maintenance and upkeep of the North Orwell Hall, so please come out and enjoy a day and evening with neighbors and friends.

Compassionate Friends— of the Endless Mountains will hold their meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Endless Health Community Center, Montrose.
