New Albany Man Faces Child Pornography Charges

A New Albany man is behind bars after it was discovered he possessed and uploaded images of child pornography.

Elijah Canfield, 20, was taken into custody after the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Northeast Computer Crime Unit, and state troopers from Towanda executed a search warrant at his home in the 500 block of Front Street.

Police say Canfield allegedly uploaded images to Google Plus and Dropbox accounts.

As a result of the search, Canfield was charged with numerous counts of sexual abuse of children, in relation to disseminating and possessing child pornography. Canfield was also charged with five counts of criminal use of a communication facility.

Canfield was arraigned and held in lieu of $150,000 bail at the Bradford County Correctional Facility. He is set to appear back in court at a later date.
