A Live Nativity will be presented in songs of celebration and readings during the walking tour on the grounds of The Rome Vigilante Fire Co. in Rome on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. Parking available in the Presbyterian church lot. Collection containers available for Grace Connection to include hats, mittens, gloves and blankets. Presented by the Rome Presbyterian, Rome United Methodist and North Orwell Union Churches. Look for the Star shining brightly and experience our version of “The First Noel.” Christmas Coffee ‘n Cookies Social, Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. at the Tuscarora Township Municipal Building, 2298 Underhill Road, Suite 1, Laceyville. Doug Walton is speaking on “Old Roads of Tuscarora.” Sponsored by the Tuscarora Township Historical Society. Breakfast with Santa, Saturday, Dec. 16 from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Inn on Quarry Glen. Parents be sure to bring your camera for a photo with Santa. Children will receive a present from Santa. Eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, french toast, waffles, homemade breads and fruit. $15 for adults. $10 children under 12 and free under 2. Living Nativity come and experience a reenactment of Christ’s birth performed by members of the Herrickville United Methodist Church, Friday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at 557 Cooley Road, Orwell Township. Annual Christmas for Youngsters on Sunday, Dec. 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Auxiliary of Gardner-Warner American Legion Post 154, 14515 State Route 3001, Montrose. It is for age 10 and under. “The Christmas Story,” a classic Christmas celebration, Sunday, Dec. 17 at 9:30 a.m. at the Neath Church. Christmas Eve services at 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 24, with guest speaker Pastor Paul Blasko. All are welcome. The church is about 3 miles east of LeRaysville, just off East Street.
