Lenten Fish Dinners sponsored by The Knights. The dinners will be on Fridays, March 9 and March 23. Dinner includes baked fish, macaroni & cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, applesauce, dinner roll, beverage and homemade dessert. Served from 4-7 p.m. in St Basil’s Hall, Dushore. Adults $10, Children 12-6 $3.00, Under 6 eat free. Everyone welcome.

Take-outs available. Proceeds benefit local charity activities. Knights of Columbus, Dushore, Wyalusing and Mildred, Council 12406. Birthday Dinner, Saturday, March 17, Cutoff is March 10. Come out and celebrate the 99th year of the American Legion at a birthday dinner to be held at the Wyalusing American Legion Post 534 on Bowling Alley Road. Social hour at 5 p.m., with dinner being served at 6 p.m. by the American Legion Auxiliary. The dinner is free, but the auxiliary is asking you to bring a non-perishable food item, crackers, energy bars, peanut butter or personal care item to be donated to our military families. Reservations are a must, there are no exceptions and can be made by calling the post at 570-746-1772 or Ree Ann Ross, 570-746-1316 mornings after 9 until noon and evenings after 8 p.m. If no answer, please leave message. Ham and Bean Dinner on Thursday, March 29, at 5 p.m. at the Goodwill Fire Company banquet room in Laceyville. Wysox Sewing Monthly Dinner: The Wysox Sewing Society will hold their monthly dinner at noon, Tuesday, March 13 in Ferguson Hall of the Wysox Presbyterian Church, Rt. 187N, Wysox. Roast beef will be featured on the menu with mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, assorted vegetables, gelatin salads and a delicious variety of homemade pies. Everyone is welcome.
