Eldred Hitchcock

April 24, 2018

Eldred Hitchcock Eldred Hitchcock The world lost a true hero this week. He wasn’t an athlete, he wasn’t in the military and he wasn’t an actor.

He was a man who loved the Lord, a great man, a great husband, a great father, a great friend to many. He was a businessman, a farmer, an educator, a salesman, a preacher, and countless other things, too. He showed the world what living life was all about.

A loving, devoted husband and father, who never allowed his children to want for the necessities, giving out his time, money and love with joy, not resentment. Opening his heart and his home to his children and grandchildren, he was always there for everyone he loved. He had good times and bad times, but never let money control his or the family’s happiness

He wasn’t a good man, he was a great man, a Christian man that lived by God’s word. He taught us all thousands of things in our lives, but the most important thing he taught us is how to live in his mold as a man, a father and a friend.

You always were and will be our hero.
