One of Many reasons your idea

One of Many reasons your idea on consolidation of this magnitude would not be feasible is that for the hours it would take to get most of the students to and from school. The busses would have to be prepared to serve breakfast and supper while in transit. chuck Place

The individual schools would

The individual schools would still remain. Only the ADMINISTRATION would be consolidated. You would still have the Wyalusing Rams, The Canton Warriors, etc. Administration costs are a burden that could, and should, be eliminated. The administrations add nothing to the education of the students. They are OVERHEAD.

Ridiculous. The taxpayers

Ridiculous. The taxpayers continue to pay for this mess. It is way past time for Bradford County to form ONE (1) School District and locate it in Towanda. There is not ONE (1) good reason for the taxpayers of Athens, Canton, Northeast Bradford, Sayre, Towanda, Troy and Wyalusing to each maintain separate administrations. Eliminating 6 administrations would SAVE the taxpayers $millions. Coupled with centralized transportation management, supply purchasing and service procurement, the savings would be huge. A $24 million budget for Wyalusing is absurd. For the product that is being put on the street it is a complete rip off. Bill Looney.
