The Federal Election

The Federal Election Commission requires that candidates that accept public financing for their campaigns declare that they are behind a message they put out. There is a difference between “hard money” and “soft money “ The problem is “soft money” that can say all kinds of nonsense on behalf of the party or the candidate that a candidate actually doesn’t agree with, believe in or want.
