Ronald Decker Ronald Decker Ronald G. Decker, 74, of Montrose, PA, passed away at home on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, after an extended illness. He was born on Sept. 11, 1944 in Sayre, PA, to the late Burgess L. and Bernice M. (Post) Decker. His wife of 52 years, Brenda J. (Stark) Decker, survives.

Also surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kerry Decker; granddaughters, Miranda and Brenna Decker; grandson, Kale Decker; brother and sister-in-law, Ward H. “Butch” and Linda Decker; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and David Franks; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey T. Decker in 2017 and sister, Sandra Overfield.

Ron co-owned and operated the family farm; he also sold Dekalb seed corn, drove milk truck for Charlie Tyler, but he truly loved to do custom combining. He loved his John Deere tractors and combines and going deer hunting. Ron was most proud of his family, and he enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, 232 S. Main Street, Montrose. The family will gather at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday prior to the procession to the Rush Center Memorial Park for the interment at 11:30.
