Endless Mountains Chapter, PSEA-Retired will hold its Spring Meeting Wednesday, April 24 at the Villa Sena, Towanda, at 11:30 a.m. The Program will be “Golden Years: Living in Retirement,” with Jason Hurwitz as guest speaker. The Wyalusing Senior Citizens will meet at the Wyalusing Meadows Community Room on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. Hosts are Marie Jenner, Veda Woodruff, Carleen Fitzgerald and Janet Logan. The Machwihilusing Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Sunday, April 28 at 2 p.m. at the RiverStone Inn in Wysox.

The Wyalusing Musical Society will meet on Thursday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church. Allan Waterhouse will be presenting a program titled “Mancini Revisited.” The public is cordially invited to attend. Hostesses for the evening are Sue Waterhouse and Marti Keeney.

Hill Country Artists Meeting on Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in the Claverack Building, East of Montrose on State Route 706. Friends of Salt Springs Park, Inc.: Upcoming events at the park in Franklin Forks, PA are “Chainsaw Day” Saturday, April 13 at 9 a.m. Volunteers needed! On the first day, we make firewood out of dead and downed trees and tackle some of the bigger clean-up jobs. Bring chainsaws and trucks if you can. “Trail Day” on Saturday, April 27 at 11 a.m. is volunteer clean-up day at the Park. We’ll tackle everything from leaves to logs and dust to trail debris. Free food and T-shirts for all volunteers.

Free Community Impact Session on Tuesday, May 14 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Keystone Theatre, Towanda. Topic: Quality Leadership... and Strong Board/CEO Relationship – enhance the great work of our local nonprofits. Event offered through United Way of Bradford County with a special grant from the FirstEnergy Foundation.

The 3rd Annual Sullivan County Friends of the Library Spring Tea will take place on Sunday, April 28 at St. Francis Hall, Rt. 487, Mildred. Doors open at 12 noon with shopping until 1 p.m., when tea is served. Your $20 entitles you to all the tea sandwiches you can eat, a variety of sweet goodies and a delicious dessert along with your tea. Educational Forum, “Impact of Drugs on the Human Brain - The Science of Treatment and Recovery” on Friday, April 12 from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Keystone Theatre, 601 Main Street, Towanda. Piano Music By Adrian Skarvinko on Wednesday, April 24 at 11 a.m. at the Warren Center Senior Center in the Warren Center Township Building on Schoolhouse Road. Upcoming Raffle: Win a trip to Punta Cana. The GWCC is selling raffle tickets for an all-inclusive trip for two to Punta Cana. The trip includes a seven night stay at the luxury Majestic Elegance Resort. Airfare from Philadelphia, all transfer fees, meals, entertainment and taxes are included. Travel arrangements will be handled through The Travel Shoppe and are based on availability. Tickets are $50 each, drawing date Thursday, April 18. Tickets can be purchased at the following GWCC member businesses: the Rocket-Courier, Grovedale Winery and the Towanda Gun Club.
