Art Show Debuts Friday at Blue Heron Gallery
It’s being called a “celebration of the arts—music and dance expressed through the visual arts of painting, prints, photography, sculpture and the written art of poetry.”
The show opens Friday evening at Wyalusing’s Blue Heron Gallery on Main Street and offers a full evening of entertaining and interesting events, starting with poetry reading at 6:30 p.m. and followed with dance performances by several area dance troupes beginning at 7.
The event will also include a free mini dance class for all at 7:30.
The evening’s dance music will be provided by the Brian Murphy Dance Combo of Sayre, beginning at 8:15.
Tasty culinary treats and wine will be served. Admission is $10. A full-color catalog with many of the images and poems included in the show will be available for $15.
Artists represented in the show include: Karen Kucharski, Kurt Lichtmann, Charles Wells, Brian Keeler, James Ramsdell, William Deats, Sharon Morales, Jacqueline Shattuck, Karen Black, Thomas Wise, Jeffery Perrault, Andrea Staffield and Georgiana Cray Bart. Poets include: Richard Aston, Lawrence Bassett, Karen Blomain, Kurt Lichtmann, Joseph Burinsky, Kaye C. Newburry, Linda Graves, and Megan D. Wolfe.
