Election Office Announces Absentee Ballot Deadline
The Bradford County Board of Elections announces that this year's Municipal Primary Election will be held on May 17. The last day Civilian Absentee Ballot Applications will be received in the office of the County Board of Elections is May 10. The last day Absentee Ballots will be received in the office of the County Board of Elections will be any time prior to 5 p.m. on May 13.
The law includes expanded definitions of “Duties, Occupations or Business,” to include “Leave of Absence for teaching, vacations, sabbatical leaves, and all other absences associated with the elector’s duties, occupation of business, and also includes an Elector’s spouse who accompanies the elector.”
Absentee ballot application forms are available at the Election Bureau Office, Bradford County Court House (Annex Building), 6 Court St. Suite 2, Towanda, Pennsylvania, or call 570-265-1717 or 1-888-270-VOTE. Absentee ballot applications are now available on our website, www.bradfordcountypa.org and selecting the Election Office Link. Applications downloaded should be mailed to the Election Office at 6 Court Street, Suite 2, Towanda, PA 18848.
