Getting Ready for Upcoming Egg Hunt
The Wyalusing Valley Volunteer Firemen are gearing up for annual Easter Egg Hunt they host at the Wyalusing Borough Park. The egg hunt will take place on Saturday, April 23, beginning promptly at noon. Children, infants to 12 years old, are welcome to take part in the egg hunt. Each year youngsters from the community help the firemen get ready for the event. This year help was received from members of both Spring Lake’s Adventurer 4-H Club and Wyalusing’s Boy Scout Troop 96. Their service is counted as a community service project. During the recent work bee, approximately 4,700 plastic eggs were stuffed with candy and goodies. Shown above are some of the work bee helpers, front row, left to right: Briana Vanderpool, Domanick Otis, Jared Zionkowski, Kreg Johnson and Brian Merklinger. Middle row: Sarah Vanderpool, Dallas Saxon, Tobi Kinsman, Jared Clark, Wesley Ballard and Nick Shaffer. Back row: Lawton Spencer, Taylor Spencer, Austin Clouse, Alex Dake, Tracey LaFrance and scout leader Jerry Clouse. Missing from photo are 4H leader Melissa Vanderpool, Debbie Clouse (Troop 96) and volunteer fire personnel Judy Higley, Jason Otis and Janet Otis who also lent a hand.
