Speed Limit Changes Posted on Camptown, Homets Ferry, and Stevensville Roads
PennDOT is announcing a regulatory speed limit on State Route 2025 (Homets Ferry Road) in Wyalusing, Bradford County, as well as additional local roadways.
A regulatory speed limit of 40 miles per hour will be posted on State Route 2025 (Homets Ferry Road) from State Route 2038 (To The Ferry Road) to Route 6.
PennDOT also announced that the speed limit will be reduced on two sections of Route 706 near Stevensville, Bradford County.
The 40 mph speed limit on Route 706 east of Stevensville has been extended just beyond Devine Road, reducing the existing 55 mph speed limit. The existing 50 mph speed limit from Stevensville to just west of the Susquehanna County line has been reduced to 45 mph.
Motorists in Bradford County are advised to be alert for and obey the reduced speed limits. The change will take effect once the signs are posted.
The lower speed limits are being implemented based on findings of a traffic safety study conducted in the area.
