The Turtles Appearing at Keystone Theatre October 7

"The Turtles," featuring Flo and Eddie, will open the 2004-05 Nightlife on the Susquehanna series on Oct. 7 at the Keystone Theatre. Few groups in musical history have achieved the legendary status and longevity of "The Turtles."

The group's debut single, an ar-rangement of Bob Dylan's "It Ain't Me Babe," swiftly became a national top-5 hit, establishing the local heroes as a musical force to be reckoned with. "Let Me Be," "You Baby," "She'd Rather Be With Me," "You Know What I Mean," "She's My Girl," "Elenore," "You Showed Me," and of course, their signature song, "Happy Together" were among the top-20 records "The Tur-tles" scored between 1965 and 1970.

Tickets are on sale at the Key-stone Theatre. For information, call 268-ARTS.
