Trehab to Renovate Landmark Laceyville Home

Dennis Phelps, Executive Director of the Trehab Center, Montrose, recently announced that a home formerly used as medical offices at 106 Main Street, Laceyville, has received funding for renovation, and work should begin within two weeks.

The funding provides money to renovate the building into three apartments for senior citizens and one commercial office.

Wyoming County Commissioner and Trehab board member Judy Mead said providing affordable housing and helping Laceyville's downtown provides positives for everyone. "This building will be restored and utilized by the community for at least the next 10 to 15 years."

Completion of the project is expected in about six months.
