WVHS Class of '59 Holds Reunion

On Saturday evening, July 10, the Class of 1959 held their 45-year reunion at the Towanda Elks Club.

The evening began with a moment of silence for class members who have passed away.

Class members and guests were entertained throughout the evening by "DJ" Wes Skillings, who kept music from the 50's and 60's going strong.

Following dinner, the Wyalusing Swing Choir presented a great program, also performing several numbers relating to the high school years of the Class of 1959.

A good time was enjoyed by all who attended, and everyone is looking forward to the next reunion in a few years.

Those who attended the reunion were: First row, left to right: Eugene Ross, Charles Hall, Larry Snyder, Allen Dyer, Tony Turner and Marjorie Kneller Stringer. Second row: Lorna Dolan Gublo, Joanne Newton Reynolds, Patricia Burke Eberlin, Julia Mosier Acorn, Sally Keeney Turner, Barbara Kaufman Welch and Charles Dull. Third row: Judy Neuber Epler, Dorothy Edsell Benjamin, Madge Clapper Kershner and Lynn Honchell Westover. Fourth row: Roy Preston, Louise Brown Matson, Jerry Brown, Arthur Allyn, Robert Whipple, Elaine Kipp Shirk, Jean Walker Mosier and Thomas Whipple.
