Wyalusing 4-H Equestrians Excel in County Competition
"The Wyalusing Horse & Pony 4-H Club would like to extend congratulations to all the other riding clubs in Bradford County who have members participating as well," said a club spokesperson. Clubs competing in districts will include those from Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga and Wyoming Counties.
Local placewinners at Troy were:
Vickie Borel—English Grooming and Showmanship Sr., second.
Maria Fenton—Pole Bending, third, Clover-leaf Barrels, fifth, Raised Box Keyhole, fourth;
Amanda Hunt—Western Grooming and Showmanship, Jr., sixth, Western Pleasure Horse, Jr., fourth.
Nichole Hunt—Walk Trot Equitation Novice, fifth, Walk Trot Pleasure Novice, fourth;
Melanie Krecker—English Grooming and Showmanship, Sr., sixth, Hunter Under Saddle Ponies, second, Hunter Hack Ponies, third;
Veronica Kropelnicki—Western Grooming & Showmanship, Sr., third, Western Pleasure Horse, Sr., first, Stock Seat Equitation, Sr., second, Western Riding, first, Western Pleasure Pairs, first;
Bridget McDonough—Hunter Under Saddle Horse, Sr., fourth;
