Wyalusing School District Sets Make -Up Day

Wyalusing Area School District Superintendent Chester Mummau announced that school will be held on a previously scheduled vacation day to make up for a day lost due to recent flooding.

Monday, Oct. 10, Columbus Day, will be used as a student make-up day for the day missed on Sept. 8. It will be a regular day except for the CTE students who travel to the Northern Tier Career Center. Those students will complete an alternative assignment at WVHS during the afternoon block related to their course at the NTCC. Mr. Gary Otis, principal, or designee will have the assignment for those students on Oct. 10 and will announce the meeting location that morning. All NTCC students are expected to complete the assignment.

Wyalusing students who attend Towanda Area SD or Susquehanna Area SD for their education will follow the school calendar of those districts.
