Terrance J. Thompson, Towanda, faces prosecution for theft by deception and bad checks for alleged offenses on June 26 of this year in Wysox Township. It is alleged that Thompson wrote a check to P&C Food Market on that date in the amount of $23.93, knowing that the check would be drawn on a closed account. His preliminary hearing date is Oct. 8.
Cesar Condo, 45, Wyalusing RR 3, faces prosecution for DUI for alleged offenses on Rt. 706 (Taylor Avenue) in Wyalusing Borough on Sept. 6 at 12:16 a.m. There was no report of the results of a blood-alcohol test allegedly taken, but the arresting officer, Sheriff Steven Evans, reported visual evidence that the suspect was intoxicated, as well as the strong odor of alcohol emanating from his person. Condo was also cited for driving outside his assigned lane. His tentative preliminary hearing date is Sept. 15.
Rony Alexander Matute, 29, LeRaysville, faces prosecution for DUI for alleged offenses on Aug. 15 at 1:30 a.m. on Rt. 187 in Wysox Township. His BAC was reported at .19. He was also cited for driving without a valid driver's license, careless driving, driving outside his assigned lane and failing to wear a properly adjusted or fastened seat belt. His preliminary hearing date is Sept. 29.
